Branching Out at Twigs Camp

Thais O'Malley

By Thais Souza The Lake Forest Parks & Recreation’s Twigs Camp wrapped up its season on Aug. 4 with a performance of Alice in Wonderland, an art showcase featuring the great projects created over the summer and a cookout for family and friends at Stirling Hall.

An outdoor performance of Alice in Wonderland charmed spectators on the final day of Twigs Camp. Twigs campers participated in games, weekly trips to the beach and multiple field trips throughout the summer. Children who completed grades one through six were eligible to join the camp.

Campers gather below the Forest Park Beach volleyball net.

Kelly Laurelai shares her project created this summer.
