Deerpath Golf Course opened its 30,000-square-foot, 18-hole putting green -- known as The Lawn -- on July 6.

Inspired by the public-access Ladies’ Putting Course in St. Andrews, Scotland, putting lawns are a popular new craze at many resorts and private clubs across the United States.
