Photography By Thais O'Malley Another successful Lake Forest Day took place on the first Wednesday in August. The event -- started in 1908 - featured a 5K & Fun Run, parade downtown, rides at West Park and more. Thousands joined the festivities, from children to octogenarians.
The event is organized annually by Lake Forest American Legion McKinlock Post 264.
