The benefits of reading aloud to children are many, including enhancing their literary skills and improving their concentration. Students in Lake Forest School District 67 classrooms enjoyed World Read Aloud Day on Wednesday, Feb. 2 when Mayor George Pandaleon, City Manager Jason Wicha, Finance Director Elizabeth Holleb, Fire Chief Pete Siebert and others read books such as "A Dollar, A Penny, How Much & How Many?" and "Fly Guy Presents Firefighters."
